JASG Information Kit Cover

This cover was created for the Japan-American Society of Georgia, an organization focused on cultural exchange between Japan and Georgia. This cover had to "reflect the spirit of connection and cultural exchange—maybe a blend of iconic imagery from both Japan and Georgia, or something that evokes community and celebration."

I played with different iconography from both Georgia and Japan in my original sketches, and I was later asked to add the Georgia and Japanese skylines. The literal blending of the cherry blossom tree and peach tree is the strongest symbol here. I knew this piece had to be warm and welcoming, so I kept warm toned colors and a happy mood.
