Abigail Faulkner

(formerly "ikiwisoba")
I'm a working Illustrator and Designer based in Atlanta, Georgia, where I was born and raised. Originally bound for cybersecurity, my trajectory was changed by my high school art teacher, who encouraged me persistently to pursue the arts. I draw inspiration from cutesy, whimsical things. My strength lies in my linework, but my work is also known to be bright, colorful, or dramatic. I will finish my Illustration Bachelor of Fine Arts with the Savannah College of Art and Design in May 2025 and will be available for work in June 2025. I can also sometimes be found at conventions and markets, selling my work locally.

Feeling is such an important part of my life. Whether it’s something as simple as feeling joy when I see a cute green acorn when out on a walk, or something more serious, I want whoever views my work to feel something too. Through illustration, I can pass feeling to others and have them connect to me, and in turn, others as well. Feeling joy when you share an interest with someone, or surprise at a good twist in a book, or sadness to see your plant dying – it’s what connects us. What’s the point in creating and consuming if you feel nothing?

My LinkedIn and my email address are attached to my Contact page with more information about my work history. Please email me about any work inquiries!

I'm very active on Instagram! I use it to share my work, connect with other artists, and promote art and ideas that inspire me. All of my other projects and sketches are included there too.
