Football Comes First Cover

This piece is a graphic novel cover for a self-made story. The story is a loose spinoff of Eurydice and Orpheus, instead placed in a football-focused 2000s college scene. Eurydice and Orpheus meet over the summer and really hit it off together, until Eurydice finds out that Orpheus is a player on her rival football team, and ghosts him. Orpheus is heartbroken but starts to piece together her story at their first versus game of the season, when he sees her playing on his opposing team. This romantic drama follows their journey back to each other, where Orpheus transfers schools to be with Eurydice again- this time as teammates.

This cover is a snapshot into a clash between Eurydice's care for Orpheus and her ambition in football. There are motifs related to her football career and her love for Orpheus scattered around the scene.
